@shib did your case status changed from received to something once they send your EAD and AP ?? I did my biometrics on august 30th yet nothing on EAD or AP .. it says my case is ready to schedule an interview .. they received all my docs on April 2nd ..

mine changed from ready to schedule to scheduled afer a long time

Just had interview yesterday in Cincinnati! We took a lot of new evidence plus originals and copies of everything we submitted with our original form. The officer took my husband back first (applicant) and of all the things we brought the officer wanted: our joint bank statements, lease, car lease, tax transcript from filing together, be pay statements from both of us, a program from our wedding, a picture of us on our honeymoon, and a picture of us with my family. He also made a copy of my husband’s I-765 approval. He interviewed my husband for 35 min then called me (US citizen) back to join them and asked me questions for ~10 min (how did you meet, what are his hobbies, where do you live, describe your home, where did you get married, etc) which were all questions he asked my husband first. The person who was supposed to interview us was sick so the guy we ended up with said he still needed to review our file to make sure he had everything but that we should be approved soon. Received update last night that card is being produced!

Did you guys had a lawyer with you or on phone ?

We didn’t have a lawyer with us. I think half of the couples that were there for the same interview time had lawyers with them

Also some couples were allowed to go back together, others were called back individually (like just husband then just wife then both together) and one other couple was like us (husband first then I got to join husband). I don’t know if that was just each agent’s interview preference or if it was based on each case

oh ok yea we are ready for being seperated. We have nothing to hide or nothing wierd so hopefully things will be alright.

hey. I also had my interview in Cincinnati yesterday. and lot of the couples had lawyers but we didn’t. some got separated but we didn’t. the officer called us both and asked just a few questions like : when I entered, when we married, where I lived, my name and went over the yes or no questions . and the rest was more of a conversation. he was very friendly. we took additional documents but the only thing he took was my medicals and our new health insurance card. we were done in about 15 minutes. all the best with your interview

@Allison and MAMA thanks for your tips the interview went really well. In and out in 15 mins, the officer brought us in together asked the yes no question and asked me my spouses date of birth and vice versa. He took one picture and the 2020 tax returns and said everything looks good and should be able to approve by end of tonight.
