interview scheduled / Consular Process / Nepal
Hi my brother got interview scheduled in US embassy/ consular process in Nepal. but the thing is Trump administration make Nepal on pause list for consular process. his PD is December 2021( Current )
what will happen after interview
does anyone have any idea/ information?

221(g) or 221(f) it will be temporarily denied.Go through reddit, multiple posts there.

he will have interviewed but visa will not be issued until lifting pause if all goes well. good luck.

Nepal is listed under the State Department’s 75-country immigrant visa issuance pause. So your brother may be interviewed and then placed in administrative processing/221(g) until the pause is lifted or an exception applies.
