Interview Results
Hey everyone,
I had my interview today and it felt like talking to a friend. At the end, she said she’d be approving my case and to expect a 2-year green card due to the length of the marriage.
However, after signing an electronic document, I was also given a paper saying “case is still being held for review”
I was quite shocked because it contradicted the verbal approval and I am reaching out to know if anyone experienced something similar. My case status still says “Interview was scheduled”.

We were only asked how we met and that turned into a conversation for the remainder of the interview.

once the IO says they going to approve you that's it, you're already approved no matter what. rest assured you are approved already.

In our case, we were also told at interview he was recommending approval. He verbally informed me to mail in a copy of our lease, which I failed to bring to the interview. I priority mailed it the following day. Uscis updated my case to RFE and changed the next day to say new card is being produced. Two days after that, we received the RFE paper notice. After one day, updated to card has been mailed and today green card in hand.

Thanks everyone. My case status still hasn’t been updated. Just making sure that a verbal approval isn’t rescinded. Lol.
I have an IOE receipt number so my application went through ELIS.
