in my case they only asked 3 questions: when did u get married? what does ur husband do for work? where does ur husband live?

@Laura r-y oh wow really?? so how long was the interview like 5 minutes😂? also did you get ur visa right away or did they hold ur passport and make you wait a couple days before they gave it back?

My interview was on 31st of August, got there around 6am.. submitted all the necessary documents which were transcript birth certificate marriage certificate and some pictures of me and my wife.. My number was called by 9am Co: who petitioned u? Co: your wife looks older, how does your parents feel about that? Co: has you or or wife ever been married before Co: does wife live alone? Co: what company was ur wife working with the first time she visited you? Co: have you ever been arrested? Co: ur police report' fingerprint page looks photocopied you should get a new one..then hands me a form with instructions on how to send to dhl.. sent it on 3rd of September and got issued on the 14th.. Transcript Interview date: 18/09/2023 So, I arrived the consulate 6:17am. I had to quickly go to the cyber cafe to print out another AOS because my fiancé made a mistake in the previous one and I just discovered it on Sunday. I had to spend 14k to print 14 pages. E pain me sha. Well, passed through security checks and eventually got to the waiting room. We waited for a very long time thinking we have been rejected. Eventually we were ushered inside the interview room. I was called to window 14 to submit my civil documents. After which I was asked to sit down and wait for my number to be called. I was called to window 19. A slim white woman probably in her mid 40's was the interviewer. She was the toughest among all. CO: can you raise your right hand? Me: raised right hand up CO: bla bla bla Me: yes CO: What's your name? Me: answered CO: Who petitioned for you? Me: mentioned my fiancé's name CO: How did you meet? Me: mutual friend CO: So, this your mutual friend is in the US? Me: No CO: So, he took you by hand and introduced you to her? Me: I answered her while looking into her eyes like I can see my future in there. CO: So, you met in a religious group? Me: no. I have told you how we met. CO: it's the same thing. Well, maybe it's not. After all, your friend is not here for me to ask him. Me: Shey you dey whine me ni? CO: When did you guys started talking? Me: answered CO: when did you start dating? Me: answered CO: when did she visit you? Me: Jan 2021 CO: Why did she wait till 2021 to visit since you started dating in 2019? Me: Covid 19 CO: OK CO: where did she stay when she visited? Me: Hotel CO: where did you stay? Me: in my apartment. CO: Why didn't you stay with her? Me: Cause we're not married yet. CO: I don't understand Me: It has to do with morals. CO: when did you guys become intimate? Me: didn't interprete the question well...I said during her visit. CO: I don't understand this your morality. Then I quickly remembered the name of one in Kd and I answered. CO: what are her dislikes? Me: answered. CO: are you married? Me: no CO: children? Me: no CO: what about your fiance? Married, children? Me: no CO: Why has she not married since? Me: everyone's circumstances are different. Besides, she have dated in the past but it didn't lead to marriage. CO: does she have family? Me: yes CO: who are this family Me: her mum is late. So, it's her father and her sister. CO: oh! Sorry for the loss. Me: I will accept your sorry only if you approve me. CO: what does her father do for job? Me: Honestly, I don't know CO: What does her sister do for a living? Me: Honestly, I don't know CO: looking at me like I stole her cheese cake..how come you don't know what they do for a living? Me: because I have not really asked. Lies..I have asked before and been told but, I was blanck at that moment to remember. CO: have you had issues with police before? Demonstrating handcuff with her hands Me: No. Except you arrest me now and that would be the first time..lol CO: have you travelled outside Nigeria before? Me: answered. CO: have your fiance travelled outside the states aside Nigeria? Me: not since we started dating. But, she have been to Jamaica before we met. CO: pulled out white a paper and gave to me and said: you will use it to collect your passport when it's ready. Me: pretending I didn't hear her Well, bent over and asked: what did you say? CO: looked at me and said; You will use this white paper to pick up your passport when it's ready. Me: oh! Thank you and have a nice day CO: looked at me and asked; what did you say? Me: e be like me and you dey play question game. I said thank you and have a nice day. CO: looked at me and grinned as if she was trying to hide it. Me: packed my kaya (documents) and was leaving when my documents fell off and scattered. Then I had my fans running out from all corners helping to pick up my documents..lol. After that I wished them all success. Got to the security man at the exit and he asked how my interview went and I said fine. Security: show me love na Me: shebi na una say make we no carry anything come? I for like show you love but the love dey outside. Security: No p. Have a nice day. Me: you too. Thanks man.

@dina demii yes the interview was very short for me lol. i received the 221g paper because i was missing a police certificate, once i have the document i must do a follow up apppointment to bring it in together with my passport so they can issue my visa. besides that the interview was very smooth! dont stress! just be confident and answer the questions asked 😊

@Martins Chima that was such a detailed interview thank you sooo sooo much about that!!!! Thats a bit weird tho that they start asking ab your intimacy..🫤 i feel like they try to give you questions that might make you mess up ok purpose but hopefully my husband will figure it out when hes there.
