hi. my husband is a US citizen. he petitioned for me. on Oct 17 we went to our interview. Our appointment was at 10am. We were called in at 10:20am. The IO swore us in. after that he told us where to sit. He then give us each a piece of paper with pens. he ask us 10 questions each 1. what size is your bed? 2. who sleep on which side? 3. How many TV do you have? 4. When was the last time you had sex? 5. what did you do last Sunday? 6.where did you go on your last vacation? 7.what’s your address? 8. How did you meet? 9.where was your 1st date? 10? What’s your spouse middle name after that he took the paper and compared answer. we only got 1 wrong. after that he ask us if we have kids. we each have a child from previous relationships. At this point IO was just having conversations with us and making jokes. He was extremely nice. He told us that we are approve and that we should see an update in the system soon. He explained that I will get a conditional green card because we have been married for less than 2 years. All the best in your Interview.

@Kay Say wowwww thanks soooo much this has been very helpful trust me I think I know all these answers except what we did last Sunday lol I don’t even remember what we did yesterday🤣🤣🤣 I am a little at ease I appreciate it so much could u share what field office it was please? does that mean they separated you both?

@Kay Say thanks again… it’s just fear of the unknown I guess some can be nice n some can be real mean… so for me that’s what I’m scared about… did they separate you and asked questions?

no they didn’t separate us. Yes we wrote our answers down then he compared the answers after. we got 1 wrong. My husband forgot where we had our 1st date. IO laugh and said he’s also bad with dates. Overall it was a very smooth interview. it lasted for about 40 mins. Then at the end he said you are approved. He said he doesn’t doubt our marriage and that I’ll get my Green card in few weeks. He didn’t even ask us for anymore documents as I already submitted everything with the original filing. He only look at our photo album.

@Ausher Faisal thanks for ur feedback but r u human? what u mean how can u be scared? r u joking? this is a life changing event that can be altered by not remembering a simple answer… i always find it funny when I read people stating if you doing something right or goes right to if it’s real etc etc etc come on, the beginning of ur response carries no weight and really wasn’t necessary .. it’s human to be afraid especially in a situation like this… thank u
