@my boy the officer asked me to go in first , asking my divorce letter in last marriage. my i94 record. , ask did I submitted my I693 ? Then ask my husband come in , not even a single question to him , then confirmed our mailing address . yes, we had uploaded many documents on line in the past 1-2 years . but not his most recent tax paper and our new home ‘s purchase record etc . Really so strange , my materials were good enough , so no need any question ? 2.5 years waiting , they could not give us a clear direction and answer

sounds like they don’t need much from you and there were no suspicions. don’t stress. a lot of times it takes a month or two to get an answer. I’ve read so many cases. they didn’t accuse you of anything or act hostile. it’s coming soon! @Victoria chan

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 we are definitely real marriage with wedding banquet , joint bank account , purchasing home jointly , traveling a lot and meeting friends and familes always . So strange is they don’t even asked us to show all these pictures and papers another do.

@Victoria chan I can’t even imagine. I’m at about 450 days and it seems so excessive and tortuous! I don’t get why it takes so long when marriage is real and there’s no red flags.

@Victoria chan , I am in same train with you.i went for my interview on the 2nd of August 2024.officer took my wife in first and spent about 3min and then called me in for about 4min.no much questions as expected.she just asked me to go and that she will speak to her supervisor for approval or further clarification.it's been two weeks now

@usman Dan They really don’t understand the big torture to us for all these waiting, and all the preparation work & stress to prepare the interview mentally and physically. She did not even tell us her name . I wish u will get their approval shortly . update us when you have good news !

@usman Dan Did she hand that standard notice at the end of the interview , and clicked the first box - case will be on hold for further review ?

@Victoria chan No she did not.she went through all the basics questions on the sheet and said case is good but I have to seek supervisor for approval.so she lead me out of the office

@Victoria chan No update yet. I swear am tired for this USCIS. But I will wait till the end of the month because that's what the officer said.

nothing , even I asked Congressman to help ,they reply i485 is no expedite request , but at least they immediate approved my I131 for travel .

@Victoria chan ok. just got a letter today for another interview.they said final interview.going on Thursday.

@usman Dan , At least they are finally get back to u , most people got approved on spot at the second interview . Wish you do the same .Good luck ! But really annoying is, why they did not spend 5 mins more with u in the first interview , instead asked u to wait for another 3 painful mths . But you are almost there , update us if any good news ! # my case except the congressman got me the i131 advance paroles . The green card things still no progress at all .
