if you guys travel together any time print those air tickets copy that’s important and make sure you remember which dates you guys meet where those they must ask

shared assets like property, car and bank statement is the most importaant part. definetly work on common questions like how did you meet? , who lives with you? , did you meet your spouse’s parents? , what do you do together in your free time?, what days you work?, where do you work?….

we had ours last month September 19, 2025. it went very smooth. I uploaded all new evidence to online account on September 15th. I also brought copies of old and new evidence along with small photos album and the officer never even looked at it. immediately approved the report the 130 but not 485 stating that it expired last month August and it was only valid for 2 years. he concluded stating that once he get the new one it would be approved. I didn’t understand that part about getting a new one before or I would have had it at the interview. this was in the Jacksonville Florida office. but overall it was ok and not stressful at all. so relax. you got this.

the 485 wasn’t expired, it was the medical 693. it was signed in august 2023. but any signed after November 1, 2023 doesn’t expire.

thank you guys @Gary Ferguson I did a new medical report to bring with me because it’s more than 2 years I have it done, I have a lot documents, joint bank statements, deed, car insurance, life insurance, bill on my name and a lot of pictures 🤷‍♀️the only thing is that my husband who is the petitioner has short term memory due to an accident, for that reason we hired a lawyer and we have the medical report for his situation🤷‍♀️

@Rosie Pierre, I think interview will go just fine. what they’re verifying is that the marriage of 3 years legit and you have a lot of evidence. I think if you upload it all to your online account it would be less time then talking to you. I know that he was probably looking at all my uploaded evidence when he was not talking the interview did start with the basic though which was how you and how the relationship progressed. who cooks and the test questions, he gave a piece paper and asked her 2 questions and to turn away from me and write the answer on paper and give it back to him. the questions were if I had any food allergies and the size of our bed. he then asked me what answers my wife wrote down and that was it for the 130. the 485 was about your response about terrorist and illegal activity that you probably replied no to and that was it. I don’t think we were in there a entire 10 minutes. good luck to you!
