waiting time from DQ to interview is at 12-13 months. hopefully it reduces from that ridiculous wait time.

@Debbie Amarachi Yes. it will turn from CR1 to IR1. but it’s subjected to reduce before next year. it was 18-20 months before it reduced to 12-13 months. by the way, interview letter drops every last week of every month.

@casmir 👨‍👦 I’m still in USCIS stage. I guess before I get approved and DQ, the wait time would be reduced to 7months.

I saw yesterday interview letters were dropping. the latest ir1 interview letter i saw posted was June 16th 2022.

@Debbie Amarachi Interview letters drop every month. so there’s a chance less people get DQ each month. they’re backlogged coz of Covid, so now things are working now plus there’s two embassy in Nigeria. One in Lagos and one in Abuja but Lagos embassy takes care of the immigrant visa processing.

it so so annoying leaving lovers apart for as long as 2-3years all in the name of immigration…it ridiculous and frustrating, everyone DQ at nvc stage right now is 36,576 ,let just say Nigerians are 10,000 which is not possible but will you tell me they need years to attend 10thousand pple 🤷‍♀️ make it make sense to me😡interview that doesn’t take up to 20mins …..I totally understand that Covid came in between and the world stopped for a year,but they can’t keep hiding behind Covid anymore…time is priceless, they came give back the years of my life they have taken all in the name of immigration ,Covid blah blah blah …my friend and I got married the 2021 and she had 2kids already but me I’m just stagnant waiting for one yeye interview date 🤦‍♀️we need to start bombarding them with calls and messages

u just said everytin right @misi misi its soo depressing .. we being stuckd all in d name of immigration whereas family reunion should be prioritised... nd be as fast as it should be in other not mk lovers feel like the world is coming to an end soon .. this is time we re talking abt most folks else wia wt there families re together nd making plans fr the future. .. interview fr spouses should be waived after submitting the necessary nd required documents dat should help to elucidate real relationship .. dan keeping lovers apart nd hrt broken . in depression loneliness nd bitterness.

@casmir 👨‍👦 you need to know how upset and frustrated I’m feeling right now, far distant relationship is not easy at all it takes only the grace of God …no one deserves to be apart from their love ones, not even for 6months talk less of years it extremely frustrating…I have called the Lagos embassy more than 20times diz year and have expedited my case at nvc more then 5times still nothing 🤦‍♀️
