I think those whose case is getting approved in 2023 are getting interview letters ealier than others

@immi usa I got married in October 2021 and went back to America for the delivery.Later my husband's mother died and he went into depression because he had no one and me and my 5 month son came to Pakistan we are just waiting for interview letter so we can go back 😭

no such information from verified has been shared unless predicted by someone who is overly positive Us embassy isb is overly back logged and anybody getting approved in 2023 gets in line for atleast 2 years wait time I have two cases in family one got ir1 cr1 approved exactly after 2 year and other one is ir-5 is still waiting after DQ in April 2023 I know it’s not easy for anyone but please understand the reality it’s anyone get approved anytime keep in mind minimum 2 years of wait for interview

My wife is DQ June 8, 2022. Current wait time is about 2 years for an interview. it’s speeding up but based on information I got from a reliable source that Paki government is not allowing enough staff for the embassy. Every government can limit an embassy for the number of people they can keep and Pakistani government is not permitting more people. Also, after the coup in Afghanistan, majority of their cases were taken over by Islamabad embassy, so that didn’t help either. Reach out to your congressman to put pressure on state department to make Immediate family visa category a priority

try to transfer your husbands case to oman or saudia Arabia or Qatar. don’t go Dubai because over there is 8-9 months of backlog. Islamabad will take 2 years. I moved my husbands case from islamabad to Abu Dhabi in UAE, we were documentarily qualified since Dec 2, 2022.

valid work visa and then become a resident. my husband went with visit visa to Abu Dhabi then he changed to work visa and finally got residency!
