it’s depends on some factors. 1) abuser is USC or LPR. 2) your local office interview waiting time. if abuser is USC then you become close relatives. so you proirity date is current. but if it LPR then you have to wait for long time

i am in same boat as you. my vawa was approved on 14feb 2022. my abuser is USC. my local office is NEWARK, NJ.

@petel pat he is LPR but my attorney filed concurrently because visa was current at that time and my field office is queens NY

also I received an update saying “correspondence was received and USCIS is reviewing it for form I-360” 4 days ago

they give you EAD based on pending i485. so your EAD category is C09. vawa EAD category is C31.

to approve your vawa it is taking around 26 to 31 months.

I filed my vawa in 17june 2019 and i got approval in 14 feb 2022 you have to wait for interview after your vawa is approved

Yes....and you can request a copy of the notice online from USCIS.

@Shauna, does your online status say ‘case approved’ or they just gave you the C31 card. I received c31 card on January 20 2022 but I haven’t received the approval notice not even online update. So I don’t know if they’re still working on my case or something. I’m getting anxious.
