@robbie ballouta are you waiting 16 months since document qualified? My case in Ankara and I want to transfer to Amman. I heard you got an interview in Amman after 3 to 4 months.

@Y S no not 16 months documentarily qualified I am saying for the whole process from the start of the I-130 all the way to documentarily qualified

are your spouses who are in Amman are actually Jordanians or do they have other citizenships (from the West Bank or Syria or Iraq)?

my spouse in Amman is a Jordanian citizen born and raised @Ray M so hopefully we get an interview soon

Thanks Robbie, hope they all do very soon. same situation for my wife, Jordanian born, citizen and resident. The issue has been from a contact I got there is that they have a huge number of non-Jordanians in line waiting for an IV interview at the Consulate in Amman; applicants from Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Syrians who live in Turkey but doing their interviews in Amman, which is a LOT. Feedback given was they have to have 2 different schedules, 1 for Jordanian applicants who are actually Jordanian citizens living in Jordan and another for non-Jordanians. Statistics are showing 9 of each 10 applicants waiting for an IV interview in Amman are non-Jordanians, which is not a fair method to them and the U.S. Citizen petitioner.

@Hamza Abdulsattar I got documentarily qualified May 14th 2024 and got a interview notification sometime last week in September 2024 and my interview date is in the middle of November so roughly 4.5 to 5 months just for a response from the NVC for a interview date at any time

wow, why are they so late like this. congrats @robbie ballouta .. please let us know after the interview what kind of questions they ask etc.
