morning guys, quick question… how long can a case (IR1, USC) stay at the NVC after Documentarily qualified before transfer to an embassy?? LIKE THE LONGEST WAIT TIME… cause my wife’s case has been DQ since February 19th 2021 and till still at the NVC… i really don’t know what to do.🥲

Try to get info regarding what date is getting interview at your local embassy, make sure the info you get is regarding your petition category (IR1,IR5,F2A). At this point NVC can’t do nothing but to wait for the embassy to have available spots for interview.

yes I think you can do something. try to expedite your case. you can also request to change USA Embassy.

Check your mail. Can't stay that long at the NVC. Once your case is DQ, NVC send it to the Consulate of the applicant. Interview dates vriess depending on the workload and workforce of the beneficiary's consulate... say 3 to 6 months. Nonetheless, inquire about your case status at the NVC and expedite your case.
