yes! they also schedule my I130&I485 together for IV, no notice yet, I talked to a live agent he gave me my IV day and time

@Val S and A sy - where did you do your medical in San Antonio? Did you find an affordable place? I need help to find one that is not super expensive

I did mine in Austin (closer to where we live) and I paid $350

Eddy,have not done mine yet.I scheduled an appointment on Apr 4th.Have no idea how much I am going to pay,I just picked a uscis certificied doctor that is close to my house.

I wasnt sure about baseline cost which I got from Val S.. I am going to get all required vaccines at Walgreens or CVS. Maybe get medical done at one of the USCIS approved emergency clinics? Not sure yet.

so when I called around austin with the USCIS website doctors, I saw literally everything from $350 to $1760 (both with insurance) but it appears the most places charge between $400-600 (with and without insurance). I personally don’t think an emergency clinic is gonna be cheaper than an approved family doctor.

I paid $285 at El Paso tx

yeah def call around I almost vanished when the staff person told me $1760 on the phone and just responded with “…. that’s … isn’t that more than the form itself???”

Eddy,I found one today $200 just the visit.in case you need any vaccinations or tests done-he sends it to Quest Lab and then they bill you (i know a lot of insurances work with Quest).I think it’s a good deal

you need to do labs anyways for the blood work testing , so yeah $200 is a really good deal

be sure to calculate that time in when scheduling!

Yeah it does sound like a good deal. I am hoping to stay in the $300-400 range for doctor visit and tests since i am doing vaccines elsewhere

Eddy,I did my medical today.I paid $200 for the visit.The doctor sent one lab test for tuberculosis to Quest Lab.Once we get lab results and they are cleared-I will come and pick up my sealed envelope from their office. Also Quest Diagnostics is in-network with my insurance,so I will probably end up paying couple dollars of co-pay for the lab. the doctor was nice and everything was super easy and took like 30 minutes from the minute I walked in and walked out from the office.

Val S,yess!I am excited and anxious at the same time.I haven’t been able to sleep well for the past week,all thinking about it. Debating if I should take our son with us and how he’s going to behave and how the officer will be.Let us know how it went and good luck!

the officer was so nice too! he said it can take up to 4 weeks because it’s a little delayed in processing and shipping right now for them but he said he’ll approved it and it’ll show up later or tomorrow morning for me

yes! we submitted concurrently, so they scheduled us at the same day I guess. do you mean separate interviews? my hubby and I got interviewed together

no, we didn’t get an I-130 interview notice, it just changed in the portal to interview has been scheduled.
