Interview Done
Glory to God for all He has done. The interview itself went smooth and easy, just delayed a bit at the start because of an internet outage at the field office. They switched everything to a virtual format, and I ended up being the last person called in while many were still waiting.
I went 6 for 6 on the civics questions, then answered a few personal questions and the standard yes/no section. The officer mentioned that my case is a bit unique: I originally became a family-based green card holder in June 2015, and then converted to marriage-based on March 26, 2018. I filed my N-400 on March 26, 2025, and my biometrics were reused. My lawyer submitted a cover letter explaining how my earlier lawful presence is credited toward continuous residence to support eligibility.
Because of that timeline, she said she just needs to settle a few internal checks before making the final decision. She mentioned she’d be working on it today, so I’m currently waiting for the outcome.

@H K I applied March 26th of this year. I got reused biometrics same day and got the interview notice September 3rd

@Jesus is King Did the officer give you a form stating that a decision cannot be made yet?
I got the same form during my interview and I was curious to know what that means.
She did say that she needed to get a sign off from her supervisor

@Hector Chavez yes sir, she did. she actually needed to check on the last officers notes since she couldn’t find them. so she needed to trace them or just adjudicate the case herself.
