Congrats! that’s so fast! Praying my timeline will be similar but I know not to get my hopes up. Would you mind sharing what type of evidence you uploaded?
TN CJul 1, 2023
@T B. F. Thank you and hopefully your turn will be there soon. Evidence means for USCIS application? Because it’s the only time we uploaded evidence and it was mostly WhatsApp conversations, pictures from vacations we took together, some flight tickets to those vacation pictures.. and I guess that was about it. At NVC stage we just uploaded civil documents of the beneficiary that they required us to.

@TN C yes for the I-130 that’s exactly what I meant. Perfect. Thanks for the feedback that definitely makes me feel good about what my husband and I provided.

sh pJul 1, 2023
@TN C congratulations we are not turkish citizen and we’ve been waiting for 6 month now and still waiting😔they say for non-turkish citizens it takes 15-24 months…. poor us
TN CJul 1, 2023
@sh p Thank you. And yeah it takes longer for non-citizens in every country. Hopefully you’ll get your date soon.
Denny DennyJul 1, 2023
@TN C congratulations.
Waiting for my interview letter too!!
TN CJul 1, 2023
@Asma saleh Is the beneficiary Turkish citizen? Citizens get priority.
TN CJul 1, 2023
@Denny Krkayy Hopefully soon!
TN CJul 2, 2023
@Asma Saleh Idk about non-citizens timeline. Citizens who got DQed in May got their interview dates.
TN CJul 2, 2023
@Asma Saleh It doesn’t matter where the petitioner is from. My husband is also US citizen by birth and his entire family tree is American for centuries.. if we are going to go there. Citizens get the priority in their countries.. such as me. I’m a Turkish citizen and I get priority in my own country. It’s how it is for every country. So if your husband would’ve applied from Yemen, he could get the priority. Idk about the consulate situation in Yemen though, just giving an example.
TN CJul 2, 2023
@Asma Saleh I genuinely hope you’ll get an appointment soon. 🤲🏻
la laJul 3, 2023
@TN C congratulations… that was really fast took me 16 months to get approved. and now month 3 waiting for ankra appointment. wish the best. but don’t mean to come off rude. that is not fair for them to throw us behind and put where the person country embassy location first.
than they should open all embassy in all countries to make it easy. time is going and we are here waiting for them to get us appointment. all excuses backlog and when I called the ankra embassy all she said K1 visa is the most one now, billions waiting. well do something. here in America they aren’t even interviewing. lacking and lacking the more they lacking the more people get in the waitlist. for wait I would been married with child now. they don’t think of our life. congratulations and sorry if I come off, just been tough
good luck
TN CJul 3, 2023
@la la Ours took 13 months to get approved by USCIS when all the others were keep getting approved, even though the ones who applied months after us. That’s not fair. Because things go in order, not by the officers moods. You’re right about embassies that should work harder for people but you miss two things; I’m applying for CR1 visa, which is always faster than K1.. at every stage. 2; Embassies should serve their country citizens first. Then we wouldn’t have any difference than the others. And it’s always that way at every governmental department in every country. I could’ve been married with a child now too, everyone could have. I get you, truly. But can’t get our frustrations out on other people. Thank you and good luck to you too.
la laJul 3, 2023
@TN C as I mentioned don’t get me wrong, I’m not getting my frustration on anyone or pointing fingers. as of k1 visa when I filed 2021 they said it will be faster than marriage that’s why I chose that. and I understand I’m not the only one or best one struggling. But there is a lot my dad passed away and wanted my fiancé to be here and his grandmother died here in the state, she wanted to see him. I tried and reached everyone to make it expedite but it’s a No. I know someone been waiting for 6 months for appointment at the ankra and I know Turkish citizens got it in month if wait and he said no I’ll wait for a soon October is far. so what I’m trying to say if the immigration sending is to an embassy, as they trust ti make the process moving they can’t put priorities. it has nothing to do with people, it is the country. and I know for sure you would of felt as I am if my country gave me priority before you or any other citizen coming to my country. as of K1 visa always been the fastest. I know 10 people back in 2018 did took them 6 months. best luck ti everyone
TN CJul 3, 2023
@la la I think I should say that you shouldn’t get me wrong. I said it generally. And I’m genuinely sorry for everything you’ve been through. Again; I wouldn’t go to any other country if I didn’t have to. Maybe you were have to idk and I looked at other countries such as Balkan states which they give appointments in a week.. but they didn’t accept us because I’m not a resident there. So they only accept citizens and residents. Which is understandable. And I still think the same that citizens should get priority in their own country. Sorry but it is how I think. And K1 visas got longest due to Covid. I’m taking about after 2020, not before 2018.. Everything was faster before 2020.. And you guys make your own appointment, we don’t. Even Turkish citizens are on the same boat with you on this. They are also keep checking the system to see an opening for their interview. So it’s not the country, it’s the US system.

I got my approval notice from USCIS on July 7 I’m US citizen and applies for my spouse/husband lives in Pakistan do you have any idea how long we have to wait @TN C
TN CJul 10, 2023
@asma sadiq It took 3 days for us to get welcome letter from NVC after USCIS approval but some people got it in a week or a bit more. NVC has their timeline on their official website so you should check the latest timeline for case creation. It depends on if they are busy lately or not.
asma sadiqAug 1, 2023

TN CAug 12, 2023
@asma sadiq Thank you. Also there are some NVC/USCIS stage groups on FB that I see people mostly from Pakistan so you can track down the timeline from there for Pakistan.
