I also did my interview today and no status change instead of my I-130 changed to actively review! The officer also told me that I have to wait for 2 weeks to wait for the decision

@baris kurt the I-130 changed to approved within the hour after the interview and the I-485 switched to “being actively reviewed “ then two days later it showed as approved

I did my interview today also at Houston Field Office, officer was very nice, the officer spent time talking about himself to us, he asked few questions, like address and DOB and said he will review tomorrow and make decision.

I did my interview with my husband may 9th and no news yet, my interviewer was very vague and didn’t say I will have a decision in two weeks just that it will come in the mail?

@Sharof Abd my attorney suggested to wait 120days then act.. we can raise inquiry after 4 months if no news.. 😞

@Sharof Abd honestly I’ve been searching all over the web but can’t find anything common.. found couple of similar cases approved in 2 months some 3.. there are extraordinary cases like waited more than a year also.. can’t really tell what is causing the delays.. I filled a form online at congressmen’s website on Friday.. I’ll definitely update here in heartbeat once I get any information.. hopefully we all get approvals soon 🙏🏽

@Alexa Young Hey I've recently sent in our child's birth certificate, bank statements showing our joint accounts, a letter from our landlord for residency proof, insurance statements with our names, and loan documents. The only thing I can tell you is that adding these joint property ownership documents will boost your case. Good luck!

@Sharof Abd we did not apply for Advanced parole with our original submission in Jan 2022. as the lawyer said it didn’t look good to most case officers asking to leave in the same moment applying for green card. it’s been awhile since our interview and we miss family overseas so we are vaguely thinking about applying for it instead of waiting
