Interview completed, officer said RFE would be issued — no updates for over a month
Hi,
I had my green card interview more than a month ago. During the interview, the officer said I would receive a Request for Evidence (RFE). I uploaded the requested documents to my USCIS account on the same day, right after the interview.
However, I haven’t received any official RFE nothing by mail, no message in my account, and no document under the “Documents” tab.
The case status is still stuck on “Interview Was Scheduled.”
Has anyone had a similar experience? Should I just wait, or try calling USCIS?

@uu k I’m still stuck on interview schedule after 44 days of interview but my i130 was approved so I’m assuming any day Now my 485 will be

mine is nothing changed, they didn’t even send RFE. should i contact to uscis center ? i tried to send through website but i cant find my case choice

hey guys so I reached out to the senator for my areas. I filled out some forms and gave them permission to open my case. the responded within a day. they are not waiting to get an update from USCIS @Anna B

@m m good luck how many days are you now ?? I hope something works I’m post 44 days in so I’m waiting until next week to see what happen before I reach out to my lawyer

I had my interview six months ago the officer said they will send rfe for my baby certificate which they did after I left my interview I sent It 7 days after still haven’t received an outcome interview was in newyork

@uu k , I am on same page the officer told me on my green card interview on April 7th 2025 that I will receive a rfe for my 2 documents since then I have not received any update. It’s very disappointing and very frustrating. Don’t know what to do

I called the USCIS center this morning and explained my situation. They told me that my documents were reviewed on June 25. I figured there was nothing I could do but wait.
But interestingly, about 3 hours after the call, the status changed to ‘485 being reviewed.’
I’m really glad I called. I feel like the officer who answered might have left a note or somehow flagged it for the interviewer.
You might want to consider giving them a call too, it could help!
