He should ask uscis what's going on and when he could be rescheduled for interview. Maybe uscis waived his interview.

this happened to me.. three months later it chanced to “interview rescheduled”.. while was waiting for interview notice in mail the status changed to Nee card is being produced

this can be a good or bad sign….but keep us updated!!! btw @God Bless America any news for your case?

@i l They received my RFE, ranking 40 out of 269, 56 RFE’s in the list, I see one similar case was approved today, not sure if it’s asylum one or other type.

it’s been more then 3 weeks that I have submitted RFE but until now its didn’t update on my status that they have received my RFE . did anyone experience this issue or is this normal, please share if anyone have experience. thanks

@Loki ba I will share as soon as I have my GC in hand. it’s been long journey for me: applied in June 2019.. dozens of outside normal processing tickets, 5 congressional inquiry, 3 ombudsman inquiry and 2 Mandamus lawsuits which both dismissed

@goodluck everyone how could they dismiss your mandamus case when you applied for GC in 2019? 😱 It’s beyond unreasonable

@goodluck everyone I have been waiting for my rescheduled interview for almost 3 months. Unfortunately, I have to wait in long line for my interview. My status is “the interview was rescheduled”. But I have never been arranged for the first interview.

@Eugenie C unfortunately they did.. I filed again and I received recommendation for motion to dismiss due to duplicate litigation.

@Will John uh that’s so tough! sorry. let’s hope for the best outcome - myself did everything I could but God had other plans and timing.. nothing helped me

@goodluck everyone did you wait for a year before filing first mandamus & did they tell you why they dismissed it ,because it’s unacceptable

@gabriel g yes, I was granted asylum back in 2018 may - applied for GC in 2019 June. I filed Mandamus myself but regretted it as in my state (South Carolina) people filing Pro se are never issued summons in the first place and then just screwed with recommendation to dismiss. I wish I had researched/checked PACER before I showed up in there..:
