interview at federal plaza
we completed our interview today at federal plaza in nyc today. The officer was very nice. However, because my husband had a criminal case that was dismissed and we filed a 601 waiver the fraud when coming to the US, the case is held for review.We are confident that everything will work out. Still no approval of the work permit or travel document.

@rashid ibrar the dismiss case was for something he was accused of over 30 years ago. he had pleaded guilty so it made It made him inadmissible but we got a criminal lawyer and they got the cases dismissed. The 601 waiver was for fraud when entering the US years ago with a passport that had a different name but no one’s passport so we had to ask them to forgive him for the fraud. That waiver requires a hardship and since our oldest is disabled we got it approved.

@Dini how long take to receive a receipt notice from your waiver? after send it ?

cause I send 2 copies to different offices nothing yes it’s been month ago

@Vanderbilt Dartuling it was probably 3weeks. However, my lawyer did say they are taking on her to send the receipt notices. Goodluck
