they were probably backlogged and they didn't want to have a lot of people going to interview because of covid. And yes, you are right, I didn't see anybody that had their interview waived for a while now

I just saw on lawfully analysis that 50% people will receive "new card is being produced" update after sending RFE response

I went for interview over 2 months ago, got approved, and they haven’t updated my case status since the approval letter.
