interfiling between eb2niw and eb1
I filed EB2 NIW in December 2024 and it was approved through PP in january 2025. t
This year I filed eb1A+i-485 concurrently in january 2026.I became eliguble for AOS under eb2 niw filed a proper interfiling request on April 1st 2026. Called USCIS last week and they told me my pending I-485 is now attached to the approved EB2 NIW
anyone experienced with that?
When can I see my AOS getting approved?

Your EB-2 NIW was approved already when you applied EB1+i458.
Thats why USCIS considered i-485 for approved NIW-i140 petition.
Your EB-1 was not approved yet that's why this happened.
Before filling i485 You should wait for EB1 approval.

Unfortunately, there is still no predictable approval timeline after interfiling. Some see movement within weeks or a few months, while others wait longer depending on background checks, field office workload, visa availability, and whether the file is being actively reviewed.
