Inquiry about evidence shown in I-130
Hi,
I meet my spouse 6 months ago in marraige, introduce by my relatives. I came on visitor visa and my spouse is US citizen, after knowing each other we got married on April 1st. Then we file for my green card application and recently I got my SSN and EAD card.
last week we received a notice I-130 petition for Alien Relative USCIS requesting for evidence for legitimate marriage. USCIS stated that - The evidence in the record and testimony did not establish the claimed relationship.
while filing we have already submitted marriage certificate, marriage ceremony pictures.
we haven't open joint account yet as I just got my SSN. Also we live with our family so most of the expense is been gone from his dad's account so I am not sure if we still need to open joint account.
please advice us what extra evidence we can provide to show our marriage is legal and not entered into for the purpose of evading immigration law.
Thank you in advance.

@Kajol patel you can open an account with Bank of America very easily with or without an ssn & you can add your spouse to it. let your spouse add you to his insurance etc other wise they might be harsh on you

@Kajol patel first & foremost, your spouse should add U to his/her already existing bank account as joint account holder & also request for credit card for U. Since U now have your EAD, he should get a life insurance with U as the beneficiary & him/her as yours. Go immediately to DMV & apply for a state identity showing your identities are same address. U can also get Receipt of purchases, either U purchase things & it is shipped to him/her or the other way round but showing the same address.

Everything above is great advice. I would also recommend getting a notarized affidavit from whoever you live with stating you all live together (and if you pay any rent stating exactly how much rent you pay and receipts of these payments such as bank statements or app transaction screenshots), as well as multiple other affidavits speaking to the validity of your relationship. You can also include any transaction history through apps (Zelle, Venmo, Cashapp, etc.) to show you two are sharing finances. Absolutely get added to EVERY insurance possible (medical, vision, dental, car, etc.).

hello there, since you live with his parents, get his parents to do a sworn affidavit showing that you both are married and live with them. if you have any documents eg mail, showing receipts that shows the address for both of you, his ID cards bearing the address. pictures with his parents. this will help and then write a cover letter explaining why you don't have the other documents that have been listed.
