I thought in the emp based category only I got .. good to know there are people in the same boat .. i read so many posts about waiving of interviews that I was wondering how is my case different

@s p, if you’re filing for a dependent, then that’s why an interview was scheduled. I’m EB3 with a dependent, probably that’s why I have an interview scheduled.

my spouse’s AOS was filed in eb1c

EB1-C, India, Oct 29, 2020 filer. Submitted medicals on Sep 24. No update on 485 after biometrics (Mar 2021).

I don’t think once you are in the queue.. eb1 or 2 matters ..it usually then depends on ur FO

I am waiting since interview.. chicago FO says mine is past due .. but since we should wait for about 120 days after to hear a decision there is little u can do

that is right .. so then it comes down to your FO.. how fast are they processing cases

and idk they seem to treat all cases differently.. may be depending on the IO who goes through ur interview.. I really don’t know .. I have had few eb1.. applied around the same time but didn’t even get rfe or interview notice yet.. bcz Cleveland is slower .. but I happened to appear for the interview 2 months back and waiting since then bcz chicago is faster .. both applied oct 20..

right ...they have no idea ,i called them so many times and in october first week they said that my visa was regressed on September 21st.
