Inadmissiblity due to Hepatitis B
hello. during my medical I told the physician I have hepatitis B. he gave a wavier for me not to take the vaccine. he wrote chronic hepatitis B. I don’t have chronic Hepatitis B. my condition is acute and my doctor told me I do not need drugs that it is possible my body will fight it. After much discussion he said he cannot recommend I take the vaccine that having hepatitis B wheater chronic or acute does not constitute the disease the USA deemed an applicant inadmissible. please I am a bit worried as anyone with such situation scaled through the embassy and point of entry based on this? in summary should I be worried. ?

I don’t think this should be a problem. You cannot be inadmissible. Speak to another surgeon.

thanks for the response. I have already done the medicals. I am outside the USA. I have done some research and all came out with saying I won’t be denied Visa or be inadmissible because of this; but I wanted to be double sure. I have invested so much in this process hence my worry. Thanks again for responding.

@Johnson Damijohn Find a gastroenterologist who can evaluate you and determine your true diagnosis. A surgeon doesn't have much experience with that diagnosis.
