hi community,
my case is taking way too long. we did not have an immigration lawyer, but now we got one and he sent a letter to our field office saying that he is representing us. anyone went though the same scenario, andif so dis you see any speed up on your case?

@kristina k Contact your Senator. I did it all even the Senator twice, then I think that got my i130 approved but I didn't send in my medical at first so I guess that's gonna be delay for me now. Dropped it off at the FO 9 days ago 😒

they emailed them like 4 times every 3 months and they are just getting the same response- i’m just waiting for slots to be open for interview. and now its been going on for 2 years, same thing over and over again

try the White House. your timeline is too long. or your lawyer can sue when you’re out of processing time. you may be close

No unfortunately it doesn’t help speed up anything , unless the reason you spent money hiring a lawyer was to sue USCIS …

The only speed up process is suing USCIS! You can sue USCIS for a delayed case on your own, if you cannot afford an attorney, my friend did it for his delayed case, and got papers within 45 days. Do youtube search to learn more about it, and to get some help "writ of mandamus pro se"

@Jesus Casas Yes they responded. I think thats wht got my case moving since it got transferred to FO, and i130 approved.
