Immigration Asylum cases
This might be a very dumb question, sorry if it is. But does the huge immigration situation at the border with a lot of people starting a huge amount of asylum processes, would that affect or delay current employment or family green card applications?

yes it does have some impact on legal immigration! as USCIS/DHS has limited resources and though legal immigrants pay for processing of there applications some of that money is also spent on illegal immigration

it does, not only for UsCIS workforce , time and planning, but also the amount of possible add on green cards that can be used/allocated
