@Erika Caballero you should be able apply for fa. what kind of complication do you have. I was interview and they are ask me about my sponsorship for my marriage before vawa. I feel so bad about the situation and how long wait again

@Merciful God🙏 Merciful God Colorado, but they try not to give but I keep fighting in it and then they approve, ask your advisor to do a third verification if he is not familiar tell him to contact the applications decisions

@Easy o they rejected my I485 last year but I appealed, it seems like my first application (marriage) was not connected with the last application VAWA. they indeed realized they made a mistake and asked me for a RFE medical because the first one was already expired. since then it’s been 3 months and I haven’t hear from them. can you please tell me what FA is?

@Erika Caballero there’s two type of financial aid in any school one with a gc and the other is when you have a supporting documentation like prima facia or your vawa approved letter.make enquiry about it in your school

@Erika Caballero which school are you at? ask them to very your status through third step verification and SAVE process, not everyone is familiar with this process. I applied in June 2021 I am still waiting. did you apply alone ? do you have any idea how long is the wait for 485 now here in Denver

You show all your documents to financial aid and as long as your prima facie is valid, it shouldn’t be a problem. The most important thing is to have a valid drivers license and social security number to start the application for fasfa.
