@Michael J do what @zaki mohas said. I fill mines out with a pen. If its only you and your spouse it would be 2. However, if you have children or dependents add them too.

I found out what it is watching kseniya... so I was using brave pdf viewer and it's suppose to update the total household size based on the numbers you put in but with brave it does update total I tried in Adobe acrobat and it updates like it's suppose to thanks guys

the form has formulas, it automatically enters 1 for yourself, you can't change this I believe, then there is another box for spouse where you enter 1 and other box for children, dependents etc. once you fill in those boxes the last box for "household size" will automatically populate, you don't need to enter a number.

download the form save it at your computer then download Adobe app it's free though.
