your interview was only for i-485? they asked about your marriage? how it was?

@lucas Pimenta yes because my i-130 was already approved before my interview. The uscis officer only asked how we met, while looking through our joint documents.

@lucas Pimenta My interview was short i waited in waiting area for about 15 minutes, then I was called in. The officer then went ahead and swear me in. He then proceeded to go over the i-485 form, so everything you put on the form just to make sure nothing has changed. I had a new address and also was now working legally so we updated those. He then went to the yes and no section of the form. I had to change my answer about working illegally from no to yes. At the end you will sign again as to approve all the changes.

He then ask if i had any joint documents, i gave it to him. He went through while asking me how we met. I told him then end of interview

if you have your interview just try not to be nervous even though it’s hard and maintain eye contact.

@w s 🇨🇦🇺🇸 there was no RFE it was a cancellation notice of additional evidence. I assume they didn’t see my medical but i had submitted everything initially so that’s why it was canceled.

@Dan A they asked you about if you worked illegally? or you just said

@lucas Pimenta yes, he asked. That is one of the questions from the i-485 form. I had put no when i submitted the form but once I went to the interview I switched it to yes as I worked before without authorization and it sweared me in to tell the truth.

@asg asw yes, I got it today August 21. I had to pick it up from the post office because uscis decided to leave my apartment number off. I received every notice in the past but when it came to my greencard my apartment number magically disappeared.
