hi esthefany T i just wanna ask what did you do? do get approve by I824 fast? cause i have the same cases too I130 got approved already and they ask me to file I824 last November 9,2022 and still waiting till now almost 7 months on june9, thank you.

My beneficiary is my 2 younger kids 10 and 7yrs old. don’t know why it takes too long. im so worrying for them and want to be with them and bring them here in US. thank you

@Elyona Dimalanta Hello, we did several expedites, we contacted a senator and in the end the senator's office informed us that Uscis had approved the last expedite and that they would soon send our case to the NVC, after that email uscis took a month to approve us. I understand that this helped to get it approved faster.

@claudette O If your case is in the Potomac office and its approval is close, because I have seen several approvals on November 15, 16, 2022, I do not know if it was due to an expedited or normal approval

@Esthefany T. I think you got approved due to the expedite. there still too many from June 2022 are still waiting. what mistake you did to file i824 for ? did you select one or both or left them empty? or what was i824 for ? by the way congratulations.

@Elyona Dimalanta They also denied me an expedite without having sent the evidence of my reason. If you have a real and strong reason and proof of it, it is very possible that you will be approved! my reason for the expedite was health! good luck!!

@fk fj The lawyer left both boxes empty…they didn't know what kind of process I was going to do, if consular or adjustment of status within the US

@Elyona Dimalanta To contact a senator you must Google who is the one from your state and call his office and explain the reason and why you need your babies soon in the USA.

@Esthefany T. I also did expedited request for medical reason by congressman, and 10 days ago USCIS updates my situation to “ request for additional information received”, I just want to know how long to the final approval.

@Elyona Dimalanta You need the senator from the state where the petitioner lives. For example if you live in FL you should contact Marco Rubio. It is the senator of the state where you live who makes the petition.
