.I’d like to ask: regarding interview invitations, do you receive a letter first, or is there an online status update? I ask because I often lose mail.

@Py ZHENG if you have lawfully or another case tracker you’ll get an update that your interview is scheduled but you won’t know when cause they’ll send a mail with the date and time

I’m certainly aware of that. The main thing is, back when I went for fingerprinting, I had already received the email half a month prior; the online status only updated *after* I had actually visited the immigration office.

I don't have any lawyer. I’ll be eligible to file Form I-485 in May 2025, but the process of filling out the forms and getting the medical exam done on my own has already taken me six months.
