@april,we are in the same boat. mine is April 8 2022.am just tired of waiting, they even move my waiting time to 15 months instead of 14 months.

@Martins Chima Yes. in my case that’s my second I-130. I was married 15 years ago and got divorced. then married again and filed an I-130 for a different person.. I think in my case maybe that’s why idk.. but they tell me stupid security checks. at this point I truly gave up. nothing helped:. tried all.. ombudsman, senator; congres, inquries, tier 2… all useless. filing a lawsuit in January

@april 2022 well in my own case my wife only help her ex husband to file for citizenship not i-130. she met her ex husband there in USA already but is like he came with student visa

@Martins Chima yeah I really don’t know 🙁 I’m so sad and stressed and really don’t know what to do at this time.. I feel I wasted 2 years of my life waiting… it’s like my life is on pause… Its very hard.. especially that she’s overseas…

@april 2022 just calm down they will approve it i don't think that's the reason. I want ask again how many months was your case before they told you about the security check?

@Martins Chima they told me security check after I tried expediting and they denied my expedite request. it was approximately a year after I filed.

@Steven H Did a tier officer call you yet ? they don’t call me yet. I also didn’t get an email from USCIS yet on the inquires I placed and congress and sen. placed

@april 2022 nope, absolutely nothing. called and emailed senator's office and they haven't replied at all either. I fully expect the tier2 to call when we're asleep anyway, currently with my wife overseas. 🙄 getting a lawyer for the rest of the process no matter what. this wait has changed us as people already, not for the better.

@Steven H I totally agree with you.. I’m in the US and she’s overseas and it’s truly affecting our relationship… in January I’ll pay the 5K and sue.. tired of this ridiculous process. The congresswoman placed a congressional inquiry and I’m waiting.. it truly seems that they’ll only act after being sued.. I think that’s the only option…
