IM DQ BUT NVC STILL SHOWS "PAY NOW"
Good morning/evening everyone. We were DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED on may 9 2023. But we have a problem.. When we were starting our nvc process, everyone knows we have to pay fees for IV & AOS. We paid on April 19 2023. Payment was accepted after 3 days on 22 april 2023. So after that we submit all the required documents to NVC. After that we wait for some days hoping we will be DQ soon. On May 5 2023, we got msg from NVC that our payment was rejected. we have to pay again for processing IV AND AOS. Payment was already done and money was already deducted from bank account. So on 6 May 2023, we submit an inquiry about it ( with attached transactions and receipts of payment) to NVC. At May 9 morning arounds 8 am , we got msg from NVC msg below.
(Thank you for your inquiry. Duplicate and rejected fee payments should be resolved by pay.gov within 30 days. If it has been more than 30 days and your bank account has not been credited for your duplicate or rejected payment, please contact pay.gov directly. If your fee payment status shows "rejected" in the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC), you will need to log back into CEAC to repay your fees.)
So i was like ok may be we need to pay again.
At the same day May 9 2023, we got another msg from NVC, saying we have updated on your case. also we got another msg that we are DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED. NVC received all fees and documents they needed. I was like ok, may be they fix the issue. Later when i checked back to my CEAC account, all my documents were accepted and my case is DQ. BUT the problem is still same, my portal still shows PAY NOW on payment section.
So guys what can i do now? can anyone suggest me please ..........

@David Gurung did you save a copy of your receipt,? check the fees tab for it

hey we have the same issue! I still haven’t heard anything from them. but my problem is that the IV docs were accepted and my affidavit was rejected. which is weird too because I make 70% more than required. so now I can’t upload additional evidence for AOs and I ended up paying the fee again for aos just so I can submit again. they are not replying to me inquiry from 5/9. hopefully I will receive a message today. on case tracker my timeline went to at NVC again. I am sooooooo confused and don’t know what to do.

@Nessy - we are DOCUMENTARILY qualified already. just the problem is portal still shows pay now for both..

update: for me it was fixed today.
now it says “paid” again and im able to submit documents

I was going thru the same thing, but we got it fixed after 2x. and by the way after how long did you get your DQ? @David Gurung

@d d @David Gurung @M K how long did nvc take to fix that prob. because i m not able to submit new documents that they asked for. and i tried today to pay again but it didnt work

@Lina sbaity mine took 5 days. i send them inquiry about it and i got response that we need to pay again. but i waited for while thought it may be some glitch. so i waited for 4 days and and yes it was fixed already..

@Lina sbaity yes they changed it to paid and accepted for my husband. and on mine it says paid and submitted 😏 since our paperwork is at the embassy due to expedite. but I ended up paying mine again since they didn’t accept my AOS . but I did call pay.gov and requested a copy of the payment receipt. I sent that and my bank statement through the inquiry and 3-4 days later they changed the status.

@Nessy - i really need help or ur experience guys! my status didnt change to paid! i need to submit new documents they asked for but I am not able to submit it! my husband tried to pay again yesterday.. even new payment is not accepted.. they pop a message telling there s an error!
we applied for a third inquiry form yest!
what else should I do?

@Lina sbaity I would get a receipt from pay .gov and send it through inquiry. because Pay . gov collects the money

@ Linda sbaity Hi, I have the same payment issue. I requested a payment confirmation from pay.gov and sent it to NVC yesterday. Hope I will get the status to "paid". Did your problem resolved after sending NVC the receipt? Mnay thanks!
