@T N Do you have your AP? Do you have your work permit? If yes, you can basically do everything that your green card would allow you to do. Forget about the green card for now and enjoy the process. If you don’t do that, when you get your green card, you will start complaining about waiting 5 years to get U.S. citizenship.

@T N Bro In your case imagine you have a GC and do what you want if it has to be leaving your employer and that shitty job leave them all cuz you have already made your mind to quit so that it’s not gonna matter. At least you will have less things to worry about.

@T N frstly this category is based on future employment. The ead you received is part of benefit you got for applying 485. People need to know to start the job only after receiving the green card now is the best way. Unless they rfe you for paystubs or something just avoid it.

Idk why you think you can't go to university. Just work on an online or hybrid program and complete your degree while you wait. You can do a second job that pays you well, or just port to a better employer. The wait sucks, but it is what it is. Stay positive and hang on.

@T N I said this to you before try to understand the US immigration system. I get that you have expectations when you started the process but the reality is thousands have a similar scenario & expectations so your situation is not unique. it's your right to be vex but also expect persons from India in EB-2 and EB-3 to think your a whinner. They have been here from 08/09 still haven't received their GC.They may ask has any of your children had to self deport because the turned 21. some have 2014& 2015 PD with no EAD and AP may say how ungrateful you are and even lazy. because unlike them you have the ability to work and travel,start your own business transfer your green card process between employers but you regather come online to complain about what you don't have.again it you right to complain but also expect critiques.

@hello mark the thing is the whole processing is messing up now from 20-30 months processing time, now every case is more than 45 months, I do understand that be patient is necessary but it’s undeniable that this retrogression added the temp and frustration, what if you have to wait 2-3 years more if you already wait for 3 years, and others just wait about 2-3 years to wait, it’s an opportunity cost for this as well. Please be aware that you will get old and by the time you are out you may not be able to achieve your goal anymore. It’s so frustrating that we just have to be here and wait for everything is set for us that we may have received for a long time ago if illegal immigration is not allowed. Are you happy and how long will you accept the current situation? 2-3 years more, is it a promising future that you want?

@tribal chief Hi, I received a RFE asking for paystub 6 months after I started working to the sponsor. I don’t know what could have happened if I hadn’t the paystubs. By the way, if it is a future work why USCIS asked for the paystub prior to issue the Green Card? Any clue?

@Cristina Ruggi you have raised a very important question here. I am almost about to quit the job after 12 months which will be in 2months. The situation like you mentioned is what making me to change my decision and stay with my employer. we are already in it and have spent years and don’t want to mess up while finish line approaching near. also, have you made any changes recently before you got the rfe like address change or something? what kind of company you were working with ( fast food, warehouse etc?)

there are 3 things: God’s business, Uscis business and your business. You’ve tried the best your business, you can hope of a good destiny (God’s business) but you can not do the uscis business. So, let it be and try to be patient, because so many people are still waiting.

@Cristina Ruggi oh okay ! recently I heard of interview called for those working for fast food company because of increasing immigration scam from such sector. I may not be right however in my opinion the history, reputation and legitimacy of company also plays vital role for USCIS to be more critical.
