my friend just got green card approval this April while Asylum interview was still pending. And then he got interview scheduled on August but requested withdraw from Asylum office by a mail.

yes you can apply , but don’t withdraw your asylum case yet.

keep your asylum till you get your physical gc in hand then later you withdraw tables might turn
