I824 still pending
I got my i130 approved but uscis retained it because I made a mistake by selecting AOS and consulate processing. They asked me to file in the i824 of which I did since on 06/07/2022. I received an email from an Uscis officer on September the 1st that my case has been sent to NVC. I checked the i824, it is still pending. My uscis online account case status has not changed. My question is — is my case really sent to NVC or is just a mistakenly sent email? Anyone in this kind of situation?

Make inquiry again with USCIS to confirm this. If it's sent to nvc them you'll get WELCOME LETTER in next few days.

I already made an inquiry with uscis and the uscis agent told me that, if I received such email then the case has been because the uscis officer do have much access to a case than an agent and an officer can see more details to a case than a uscis customer service rep. I checked the NVC processing time frame for sending out welcome letters, they are currently processing cases that were received on the 08/17/2022 but I received that email on 09/01/2022. Crossing my fingers because this i824 of a form is a whole burden

Send this email and your I130 approval notice with your case number as a subject to nvcresearch@state.gov

Hello Catherine Vivian, my case is exactly what you describes, how long did it take to get the welcome letter. Did your status changes I mean I 824 and online I 30. pls I need ur reply. thsnks and congrats
