i824 aproved but no updates from nvc
I am gc . I had my spouse and kid i824 approved 1.5 years back got notice from uscis but no updtaes from nvc. inquired multiple times both uscis and nvc no response. still no response… and i had local congressman inquire me. then I finally got the answer so here what the USCIS has to say . so can anyone tell me what does it actually mean what is it happening?
“ Thank you for your inquiry dated April 12, 2024, on behalf of your constituent, Santosh Hamal, regarding his form,
1-824 Action on an Approved Application or Petition. After the 1-824 was approved on October 21, 2021, the long Island Field Office sent the file to our National Records Center so the I-824 could be forwarded to the National Visa Center. We have requested the file back from the National Records to perform a physical search of the file.
If the Form I-824 is still in the file, we will forward it to the National Visa Center. “

@jiya p they will start quickly once u email them 1 week may be and to get all the answer it took 1 mnth
