@tired from waitingg Yes, I’m not in the USA, my VAWA case was approved after 4 years, in January of 2024, and I applied to act on an approved petition (824) in February 2024, and they approved it today, so next USCIS will send my approved 824 to NVC and they will notify the american consulate in my country, and they will isssue my visa to go back to USA

@ayo l It’s a form to act after my VAWA case got approved since i’m not in the USA ( I THINK when you’re in the USA, you file 485) the NVC will take over the case and send it to the american consulate in my country so they can issue my visa

@Tash B it was approved in December, I got the welcome letter from NVC 1 week later, but now we are still filing DS-260 and changing the lawyer on my case

@Tash B @beesz h do you know if daughter 6 years old, has she go to interview or me has to be? and also I’m divorced , US embassy will require permission from her dad to move to another country? could you please help to answer if you know

@nur Tim Hi love, I was informed that she doesn’t require an interview. and I doubt you’d have to go to any interview either. hope this help , you can probably reach out and ask a lawyer
