i824 approved
What is the next step after i824 approval? It is for my spouse living abroad. How long does USCIS take to transfer case to NVC? Do we receive any email or receipt notice from NVC? I am a LPR through employment.

Applied: Dec 16 2021
Approved: Feb 6 2022
I applied both i130 and i824.

is your i130 also approved? if not, do you need to withdraw that? I am asking because I do not know which category might have priority in scheduling interview, family-based or employment-based.

where did you file from for your i-824? my I-130 was sent to Texas (where I live) and I am considering sending an i-824 so my spouse and I can move abroad while we wait to switch to consular. but Texas takes 22 months for I-824!!

I824 was sent to NBC and i130 was sent to California.

Thanks. Did you use an attorney to file 824 or is it simple enough to file it ourselves? I am in the same boat and need to file 824 for my spouse.
