i765 revoked???!!!
Hi,
I was approved for i485 back in January 2024 but today I got an email from USCIS saying they have taken action on my case. when I log in it says:
Case closed
I-765, Application for Employment Authorization
Submitted on July 10, 2023
Receipt # xxxxxxxxxxx

I-765 Automatically Revoked
On July 21, 2026, we automatically revoked your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number xxxxxxxxx, due to the approval or denial of the underlying Form that was used to grant this benefit. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
Current as of today at 6:02 p.m.
Does this happen because I got my green card in 2024? if so why did they do this now? I’m so scared they revoked it. my I-485 still says case approved and case closed

Don't worry, this is happening to a lot of people right now. Since you have your green card, you don't need the work permit anymore. The green card replaces it, which is why it was revoked.

I got the same notification too. travel permit and work permit revoke due to other benefits. my removal of conditions is still pending

I got my green card approved in January 2024

yes don’t worry it’s normal because you don’t need I-765 when you have a green card
