i765 finally I can breathe
I didn’t file concurrently because I didn’t have the money, but I filed for i765 & i485 in June 2023 & got approved for i765 today. it says, “new card is being produced”. Do you guys know how long it takes to get to you? I used a lawyer, so I’m assuming she will get it & have it mailed. I’m so happy. don’t lose hope guys. this app has helped me so much. I’m happy to answer any questions

@liss c preparing to file vawa I have a pending i130 that my spouse filed for me back in March 2022 I’m also using a lawyer I’m just so scared for the wait time but seeing your i1765 approval is a hope for me any tips or advice thank you

@Fun Hud my advice is don’t be scared & have hope. if will happen for you. I read so many good things about filing for i765 on people getting theirs in 6 - 8 months or even less! this app and Reddit helped me too. just seeing everyone’s successes in minimal time really made me feel great about it

@C A did you expedite your i485 as well? I’ve read on here & Reddit that it can take up to 2 years. but I’ve also seen some success stories of a couple months. hoping yours is fast w your i360 approval!

@C A My case is similar, I have two open cases, but my spouse asked to cancel the i130

@C A I didn't cancel it but he sent a letter to cancel the i130 petition and now this receipt is case closed, the i485 for marriage is still open along with the vawa process, my lawyer says my process can be quick

@Fun Hud no, you don’t have to divorce. you can, but you have to file within 2 years of divorce if you’d like to. but you don’t have to. your abuser will never know about your vawa.

@C A how did you get your fees waived I could barely afford to pay a lawyer I work here and there not enough money to cover it all my husband left me to pay all the bills I’m in enough debt already
