i765 Expedite Request (No Update)
I submitted my expedite request on April 29, 2022 and didn’t get a response until June 02, 2022, asking for evidence.
I sent in evidence on June 04, 2022 and even after two weeks I didn’t hear anything or get an update. I called USIC a few times to check if there are any updates or if they received my information and according to agents they didn’t see any new updates but it can take up to 60 days before anything is updated (which in that case, to me, it wouldn’t be an expedite, so that makes no sense, cause that way too long).
Because they told me that there was no update, I went ahead and submitted the evidence once again on June 21, 2022 and still didn’t receive any type of response. So far I’ve seen several people submitted and expedite and gotten responses in days even after being asked for evidence, within 1 week or less. but so far it’s been 9 weeks and yes I know every case is different, but it’s strange.
Has anyone else experienced this ?
UPDATE: I spoke with a agent on EMMA and this was there response after I asked them to check;
“From what I can confirm at this time, this request has been forwarded to the USCIS office that has jurisdiction over this case for further review. You will need to continue to wait for further updates regarding this matter.”
They disconnected the chat and didn’t even give me a chance to ask how to reach out to the office.

what was your reason and justification for expediting? what sort of evidence did you provide?

Financial: Submitted job offer and several evidence to show that we are actually in dept, late on car payments, submitted evidence of her pay, late rent payments, insurance lapse due to none payment and a few other detailed evidence.

Same. Submitted expedite in mid March, received email asking for evidence on May 2nd, till now nothing … tried to call and chat with them … same answer “we don’t know how long …. we don’t know if we have your evidence…just wait”….
