We have similar scenario. filed i485,i765 and i131 in last week of Feb 2024 with medicals..biometrics done in March 2024. kids EAD approved last week but no change in both parents status.. for parents it still shows fingerprints applied to case... pls do let me know when you get any new updates. our PD is also 2017.

@Joe joe you’re not alone. There are a few of us who have very similar timelines and are all in the same situation. We “think” it’s for 1 of 2 reasons - the kids don’t have an SSN and so are getting approved to get the SSN while the 485 for the parents is being adjudicated or the kids have less background check and so are getting approved faster. But we can’t be sure.

Came here looking for the same advice! Our kids just had their i765s approved and no movement on anything else for the rest of the family. Filed first week of March.

@Joe joe, I am in the same situation. We don't really know what this new trend implies. Fingers crossed, we see what happens next. Just a quick question, what does RFE health mean? Is this medicals you meant to say? I suppose you mean medicals but just want to be sure. Not sure if @B J and others who submitted medicals would say that they have "passed" medicals.

@Rijo Rijo I would like to say I “passed” the health test… but I didn’t study for it 😂

@B J, 😄😄😄. Not sure what is used in this USCIS process to depict that an applicant completed one of the requirements, passed seemed more intuitive 😇

I hope you all will approved soon as we also applied in February and children got EAD approved on 13 June 2024 and in the following week we all got 485 approved. Initially me and my husband got approved then within a week both of the kids and today we got our GC delivered Alhumdulillah. Now only waiting for the kids GC.

@Joe joe is your case at NBC or has it been transferred to any FO?

For others in this group, we just got our GCs approved!
