I765 Approval
hi everyone! loving the support here. I got an RFE for more evidence on my I-485. I’ve taken me about a month and I just responded. will this hold us up my i765 or will it not be held up by that?

my opinion I don't think so but I would still respond to rfe asap if I was you Just in case.

I was told by my lawyer that it would not have an impact when I had to get an updated version of my birth certificate that took about two months. Best of luck!

I second that. They are processed separately and no impact if you get a RFE or NOID on any other form. The only thing is that EAD will be terminated if AOS is denied or withdrawn.

if you filed concurrently, then progress on all cases you filed will be on hold until they receive the RFE response.

in my RFE letter is was stated that the case would be put on hold until RFE was received, and it was just a birth certificate.
so according to their notice "YES"
