i751 wavier
I stress out every day, not knowing where I fit in here. My ex-wife and I didn't work out, she didn't like me being strict with her kids, and they didn't listen, so I had to file a waiver. I have three kids with my current wife, and she filed for my son too, so he's living with us now. We've been happy together with the four kids for four years. But always worrying ,cause I heard case like mine have a high denial rate.

You mentioned your ex wife, is she the one who your I-751 (ROC) is filed for or is your current USC wife the one your ROC is for? Just confused by your post and want clarification please. You mention you’ve been together with current wife for 4 years yet you filed your ROC back in Dec 2022, so this December will mark 3 years. Just want to understand your case🙂

Did you initially file jointly with your ex wife and then convert to wavier by writing them a letter?

I filed with my ex-wife at first. When I filed to remove the condition, I was with my current wife, so I had to file a waiver. It just didn't work out, it was really toxic.

did you use a lawyer with this? I thought that if you remarry it will cancel the first petition

Nah, I didn't use a layer. And about getting remarried, I think it's cool as long as there's a waiver.
