i751 was filed. concerned about eligibility date with 3 years rule for applying for n-400. please help
hi all! I am confused with this 3 years rule. I am married to the US citizen.
We are married since 10/7/2020;
I received my 2y GC dd: 2/22/2022;
my question is when I can apply for naturalization?

@AV B , I believe when you reach 3 years after receiving your first green card. so, 2/22/2025

@AV B 2/22/2025 minus 90 days would be when you can start applying for the naturalization. There are tools from uscis allowing you to check your eligibility online.

thank you very much:) now I got it! I thought that too, but uscis calculator is going crazy and giving me 11/24/23 date😅 I think it’s a mistake. I will file after 11/24/24 🤞🙏

your US citizen spouse has to be ciziten for 3 years as well.

oh my hubby is a citizen for over 20 years, so we are ok with that😅

You can apply as early as three months prior to your three years anniversary of obtaining your green card.
