I did have some consultations with lawyers.one said -let him to divorce you, the second one said ..it doesn't matter who divorce who. but what I would do. you don't have to be divorced, you just have to notify them that you are in a process of a divorce. file for a divorce tomorrow. it can take a few months to be finalized..but you have to have some kind of documentation.at least... what was the rfe about?

I wrote a lot buh mistakenly deleted it, what’s your rfe about? if it’s about bonafide evidence I would suggest you go ahead with your rfe cos the divorce decree would most probably not be ready until after your rfe response date had passed, so to avoid denial that can lead to NOA, respond to the rfe and then you can work on the divorce and when the divorce is finalized, you can inform uscis and go from there…… you might even get approved before your finalized the divorce

RFE is about bonafida marriage just asking for w2s more leases etc.. but lawyers advised me to do it as a divorce case to avoid misrepresentation but idk how long this divorce going to take even though my ex is very cooperative and willing to sign with no hiccups
