i filed my i751 jointly in May 2023 and has been waiting since. it has only been half year now and I’m all anxious for no reason… I saw many comments say they are approved now and they filed in 2021 Oct and November that’s 2 years ago 😭 anyone with better luck that got approved in less than 2 years?

2020,1124 days from Texas. Applied jointly but later converted to waiver, Applied for my citizenship this month.

@shay Atkins can you give more details? when you file solo or ask for a waver, don’t you need to wait 5 years instead of 3 years for the N-400?

married 2017,got my green card 2018.
applied for my removal in 2020 but nothing happened for long before I started having problems in my marriage. Got my divorce after 4yrs and send in my waiver, applied for my citizenship this December for 5 years rule. my I751 still pending.

@ Shay Atkins, Can someone apply for N400 at your 2 GC 5th anniversary with or without I 751 approval?

few cases approved within a year. most of the folks do n400 and get their processing speed up. if u are eligible to apply n400, pls do that. I have been waiting 2 years with no update.

@carl william ,you can if you're still married but if you divorce you have to wait for 90 days before 5 years. 5 years rule.
