i601 inside of the US with i485 pending
Hi guys! Please share your timeline and recent updates on i601 with pending i485. I sent my i601 in July 2021, so it has been 6 month and still nothing. My case is in National Benefit Center and our local office is Palm Beach FL. My lawyer told me that usually local offices handle these cases. Is anybody in a similar situation?

it is a game of waiting now. my lawyer is preparing my I-485 and I-601 at the same time. how was your I-601 experience with your lawyer?

I like my lawyer, she only does waivers so she’s very knowledgeable and helped thousands of people. Her name is Lizz Cannon. I found her in waiver group on Facebook, where people shared their real experiences.

I knew that I need a waiver, so I ask my lawyer to file everything concurrently so we can save time. best of luck to us

I-601 filled on 10/12/2021. exactly 10 months today still waiting.

I have a similar case but I first filled I-130 in 2021 and was approved this year . so now filed I-485, I-131 and I-765. my lawyer suggested that we take the I-601 form the day of the interview

march 2021 still no updates I filled with NBC and my local field office queens and I made appointment and meet with officer but they said they don’t have control over i601 asked me to follow receipt instructions so I called contact center they were asking me to send written request to Vermont center. oh 😥 I’m tired of this i did so many SR, written requests to multiple address , chat, call , Congress help, still no decision no response

After almost a year my I-601 got approved, but I am still waiting because the US embassy in my home country decided to shut down.

Congress does not help with I-601 /I-212 I tried to get help from them, they wrote back said that they cannot interfere.
