I filled on Dec2021, and had my biometrics done in Jan2022. is that a good indicator?

@mo shalan may I ask what city you got your biometrics done in? I took me six months to get my appointment in Boston but then again I filed in early 2021

I filed for a change of status from B-2 to F-1 on November 23, 2020. I did biometrics on August 3, 2021 and so far nothing. It’s also in Nebraska.

@Alexandra Petcova So sorry to hear that. you’re already out of processing time, did you request for expedite? I saw someone who filed on February 2021 get approved in December 2021

I filed an outside of processing time request through myUscis account and nothing. I contacted my local senator in February 2021 and they contacted USCIS to request expedited processing and it got denied

I also have an extension of my B-2 visa pending in Potomac since December 31, 2020. the COS might be taking so long because the extension of stay hasn’t been adjudicated yet.
